AREThé Festival offers a unique ritual for everyone: celebrate the Tea ritual and Japanese contemporary art.
AREThé Festival yearns to spot the light on Japanese contemporary art through the tradition of chanoyu (“ The Way of Tea ” or “ The Tea Ceremony_cc781905-5c648-3bb-bad”). Though the terms "contemporary" and "tradition" may seem opposite, their fusion is actually significant of the essence of Japanese culture, which ally traditions and modernity.
Originally The Way of Tea was a type of meeting, where small groups gathered and discussed about art. In fact, thechadogu(The Tea Art instruments) used for the ritual are considered as masterpieces, functional and aesthetic at the same time.Chadogu are objects of private collections used for specific occasions. For this 4th edition several exhibitions, tea ceremony rituals and conferences will be hold from the 24th September in renowned establishments from the heart of Paris (France) to Milan (Italy), Oxford (England) and Lugano (Swiss).

The essential place is reserved for patrons, we want them to be in the center of World Art Bridge project. Counter-parties based on the donation are awarded (used for acquisition of entrance tickets, festival pass, organization of events in the company).
